The beautiful historic center of Martina Franca was chosen by the Hollywood star to shoot some scenes of his next film as director entitled "Senza Sangue", based on the novel by Alessandro Baricco of which Angelina Jolie had acquired the rights in 2017.
The elegant town, pearl of the Itria Valley, will therefore be the set of a highly prestigious film production that will bring the beauty of one of the most fascinating historic centers of Puglia to the whole world.
It is not the first time that the American diva visits Puglia. Last March, in fact, Jolie had chosen to spend a short holiday in Salento, in Torre Chianca, being literally dazzled by the beauty of the Salento area.
The shooting of the film, which will also involve Matera and Rome, will begin in Martina Franca in the first days of June and already in the city there is an air of quivering expectation among those who hope to be able to meet, among the alleys and baroque palaces of Martina, the American actress / director who said she was enchanted by the beauty of the city.
Still an important recognition, therefore, for our Puglia, increasingly loved and sought after by international stars who have learned to love our territory and our hospitality.
