The Itria Valley is that part of the Apulian territory, located between Bari and the provinces of Brindisi and Taranto and coincides with the southern area of the Murge plateau which extends between Locorotondo, Cisternino and Martina Franca.
The Itria Valley is known not only for the characteristic trulli declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, but also for the best white wines of Puglia.

Bianco d'Alessano and Verdeca are the most common white grape varieties and give rise to fragrant and fresh wines such as Locorotondo Doc and Martina Doc.
Not far away we find the "white city" Ostuni, with its terraced gardens, its system of historic farms and farms where another famous Doc is produced that uses the Ottavianello, Impigno and Francavidda vines, rare but fortunately recovered native vines.

The Bassa Murgia maintains its vocation for red wines intact with the DOC Gioia del Colle wine, son of Primitivo.
A novelty in recent years is the Minutolo grape obtained after careful studies and selections to be used in white muscatels.
