Imagine walking among the rows of lush vineyards while listening to the story of a family that lives in a unique land, where man and nature have learned to coexist. This is the experience we had in Villa Schinosa winery, whose owners told us about their vines and small but excellent productions, exported all over the world, their secrets about wine cultivation and the precious work they carry out there.<\/p>\n\n

The tour of the estate, an old restored Masseria, began with a walk through the vineyards where, during the harvest period, it is possible to participate in the special moment of the grape harvest.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

From the vineyards, you can slowly see the profile of the ancient Masseria housing the cellars built in 1884, now enlarged and modernized, where it is still possible to admire the original Slavonian oak barrels.<\/p>\n\n

Inside the winery, we followed the fascinating process of winemaking and ageing and discovered the secrets of fermentation as well as the delicate phases of bottling and conservation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

After being inebriated by the scents and atmosphere that reign in the cellar, our tour ended in the beautiful atrium of the Masseria, where we enjoyed the peace of the surrounding nature while tasting the best wines of Villa Schinosa together with some local products. \nSpending time side by side with those who have made this work almost a mission, allowed us to discover an interesting world made up of work, wisdom and great passion.<\/p>\n\n
