The result is a sweet tasting wine.<br>It is necessary an aging for three years in order to obtain the recognition as Reserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4>Cacce\u2019 e\u2019 Mmitte di Lucera<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The production of this wine covers the municipalities of Lucera, Troia and Biccari.<br>The grape varieties used in the production of this DOC wine are: uva di Troia or \u201cSumarello\u201d (35-60%), Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Malvasia nera from Brindisi alone or together with the above-mentioned wines (25-35%), Trebbiano toscano, Bombino bianco and Malvasia from Chianti alone or together with the above-mentioned wines (15-30%).<br>Ruby red in colour, good olfactory characteristics and a wrapping and harmonic taste. This wine accompanies red meat dishes and mature cheese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4>Cerignola<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The production of this DOC wine covers the municipalities of: Cerignola, Stornara, Stornarella and Ascoli Satriano.<br>The grape varieties used in the production of this DOC wine are: Nero di troia (minimum 55%), blended with Negroamaro (15-30%), Sangiovese, Barbera, Montepulciano, Malbech and Trebbiano toscano (maximum 15%).<br>This is a full-bodied red wine that accompanies meat dishes and mature cheese like Caciocavallo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4>Orta Nova<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The production area of this wine covers the municipalities of: Orta Nova, Ortona, Ascoli Satriano, Crapelle, Foggia and Manfredonia.<br>The grape varieties used in the production of this DOC wine are:<br>Sangiovese, Uva di Troia, Montepulciano, Lambrusco Maestri and Trebbiano Toscano (40% maximum).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4>San severo<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The production of this DOC wine, the most notorious in the territory of Daunia, covers the municipalities of: San Severo, Torremaggiore, San Paolo Civitate, Apricena, Lucera and Lesina.<br>Red, white, ros\u00e9 and sparkling: these are all the various typologies of this DOC wine.<br>This wine uses the following grape varieties: Bombino bianco (40-60%), Trebbiano toscano (40-60%), with possible addition of Malvasia bianca or Chianti and Verdeca (maximum 20%).<br>Both wine and sparkling spumante are served with fish dishes.<br>San Severo red and ros\u00e9 doc wines use the following grape varieties: Montepulciano d\u2019Abruzzo (70-100%) and Sangiovese (maximum 30%).<br>This is a very interesting whole meal wine with its pleasant winy scent. It is ruby red in colour tending towards an orange if aged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4>Tavoliere delle Puglie<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This wine has been recognised as DOC in the mounth of october 2011 and it refers to the historical grape variety known with the name of \u201cNero di Troia\u201d. Specifically this wine includes: \u201cRos\u00e9\u201d; \u201cRed\u201d and \u201cNero di Troia\u201d. There is also the version of \u201cReserve wine\u201d for \u201cRed\u201d and \u201cNero di Troia\u201d.<br>The minimum percentage for the \u201cNero di Troia\u201d is 65%; the addition of other grape varieties may be included but in the maximum percentage of 35%.<br>The production area of this wine covers the entire province of Foggia: Lucera, Troia, Torremaggiore, San Severo, S.Paolo Civitate, Apricena, Foggia, Orsara di Puglia, Bovino, Ascoli Satriano, Ortanova, Ordona, Stornara, Stornarella,Cerignola and part of the province of Bat: Trinitapoli, S. Ferdinando di Puglia and Barletta.<br>\u201cTavoliere delle Puglie DOC wine\u201d is available from the harvest campaign 2011-2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center\">IGT - Typical Regional Wine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4>Daunia<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>IGT Daunia wines refer to:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>White wines, sparkling and Passito white wines (from aromatic grapes).<\/li><li>Red wines, sparkling and Passito red wines, (from aromatic grapes).<\/li><li>Novello<\/li><li>Ros\u00e9 and sparkling ros\u00e9 wines.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All IGT Daunia wines must be obtained from grapes that originate from a mixture of grape varieties; specifically from some grape varieties that have already been authorized and recommended by the Province of<br>Foggia, with a minimum percentage of 85% and with berries of their corresponding colour.<br>The grape varieties of Montepulciano and Ottavianello are not included in this list.<br>With a minimum percentage of 15% it is possible to find grapes of some grape varieties with berries of similar colour, not aromatic, that have already been authorized and recomended by the Province of Foggia.<br>According to the rules established by \u201cDisciplinare di produzione dei vini ad indicazione geografica tipica Daunia\u201d art.2, may exist a sparkling version of the IGT Daunia wines.<br>The production area of grapes whose wines and grape juice are recognized with the designation of \u201cIGT Daunia\u201d covers the entire province of Foggia (art.3 \u201cDisciplinare di produzione dei vini ad indicazione geografica tipica Daunia\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4>Puglia<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The designation of \u201cIGT Puglia\u201d is reserved for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Withe and sparkling white wines.<\/li><li>Red and sparkling red wines.<\/li><li>Novello<\/li><li>Ros\u00e9 and sparkling ros\u00e9 wines.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All IGT Puglia wines must be obtained from grapes that originate from a mixture of grape varieties; specifically from some grape varieties that have already been authorized and recommended by all provinces of<br>Apulia, with a minimum percentage of 85% and with berries of their corresponding colour.<br>The mimimum percentage of 85% refers to the following wines: Aleatico, Aglianico, Bombino nero, Bombino bianco, Falanghina, Fiano, Greco, Malvasia bianca, Malvasia nera, Uva di Troia, Moscato bianco, Moscatello,<br>Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot bianco, Pinot nero, Riesling, Sauvignon, Primitivo, Negroamaro, Verdeca, Bianco d\u2019Alessano, Pampanuto, Trebbiano and Sangiovese.<br>According to the regulations of \u201cDisciplinare di produzione dei vini a indicazione geografica tipica Puglia\u201d art.2, the wines with \u201cIGT Puglia\u201d denomination may be also produced as Novello or sparkling wine.<br>According to the rules established by \u201cDisciplinare di produzione dei vini ad indicazione geografica tipica Daunia\u201d, the production area of grapes whose wines and grape juice are recognized with the designation of \u201cIGT Puglia\u201d covers the following provinces: Bari, Brindisi, Foggia, Lecce and Taranto.
